Dejan Jovanovic grew up in his father's sculpting studio in Serbia, where he developed a passion for metalwork and applied art. He graduated top of his class from Belgrade
University School of Applied Arts and later earned his MFA in metal design from
East Carolina University. In 2002, he founded Dejan Studio Jewelry in the
Washington, DC area, bringing over 20 years of expertise to every piece he
creates.
Dejan's work has earned him collaborations with the White House and Tiffany & Co., and features in Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Washingtonian magazine. His designs draw inspiration from nature, blending ancient metalsmithing techniques with modern aesthetics. Specializing in custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and limited edition pieces, every item is designed and handcrafted in precious metals at his studio inside the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.
Every piece is one-of-a-kind, crafted from 18k, 22k, and 24k gold, platinum, silver, bronze, and stainless steel. We work with diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies,
pearls, and other precious gemstones to create jewelry that reflects your personal story.
