Dejan Jovanovic is a seasoned artist with over 20 years of experience in applied art and high craft. After training as a sculptor in Serbia, he established Dejan Studio Jewelry in Washington, DC in 2002. Growing up in a creative environment, Dejan was inspired by his father's sculpting studio. He graduated top of his class from Belgrade University School of Applied Arts and earned his MFA in metal design from East Carolina University.
Dejan has showcased his work across the US and Europe, collaborating with notable clients like the White House and Tiffany & Co. His creations, featured in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings and Washingtonian magazine, have earned him numerous awards. Specializing in limited edition pieces and custom rings, all jewelry is designed and handcrafted by Dejan in his studio using precious metals. His designs draw inspiration from nature, blending ancient techniques with modern aesthetics to create harmonious contemporary pieces.
